Free family event hosted by the Fog Lit Festival at the library! Beloved entertainer Mike Bravener is bringing his children’s book, ‘Lumberjack’s Alphabet’, to Fog Lit!
The Lumberjack’s Alphabet has been sung since the early 1800s and possibly even earlier. Lumberjacks would chant it as they marched into the woods at dawn, sang it while they worked, and shared it around the fire in their shanty camps at night. Now, young readers can discover this piece of history in a fun and rhythmic way!
